Tim Morlan was raised in a Christian home, his father a Southern Baptist pastor. He made a profession of faith and was baptized at age 20 at Mayfair Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Since the age of 22, he has been involved in some form of Christian ministry. Since 2002, he has been self-employed as a tile and marble contractor. Although his adult years were spent in the construction industry, he states, “My calling is to proclaim the Word of God.” A gifted Bible teacher, he has blessed our congregation with strong sermons addressing the times in which we live.
Tim and his wife, Lori, have been married 36 years and live in Oklahoma City. They have eleven children, ages 6 to 29, and two grandchildren. Six of the children are still at home and their oldest daughter is married.
June Carter has directed music at Classen Blvd Baptist Church for twenty years. For many years, he has led Men's Bible Study on Tuesday evenings. Retired from Tinker AFB, he now spends more time with family (wife, Lula, three children, and four grandchildren) and ministers weekly to residents in retirement centers in OKC and Edmond. With his strong voice and dynamic personality, he is a favorite when he performs at the Oklahoma Opry in Stockyards City, and at Classen Blvd Baptist Church!
